About JustTheBeer
A Starting Point for Stock Valuation Research
Comparing a stock price with a valuation estimate requires assumptions about the business, its cash flows and future growth. JustTheBeer brings a published model estimate and a dated reference price together so you can examine that comparison.
The goal is to make the comparison easier to explore, while keeping its assumptions, sources and limitations visible. It is a starting point for research, not a conclusion about what a stock is worth.
The Beer Score
Beer Score expresses the published model estimate as a percentage of the reference price, rounded and capped between 0 and 100. The beer-and-foam image is a metaphor for that comparison; it does not measure hype, investment safety or future returns.
🍺
Beer = Model Coverage
A Beer Score of 100 is a rounded and capped ratio. Rounding can include an estimate slightly below the reference price; the cap hides larger estimates; it does not establish fair value or a margin of safety.
🫧
Foam = Modeled Gap
Foam is the complement of the rounded Beer Score, not evidence of speculation. An unavailable valuation has no score and is not zero. Missing or unsupported models are excluded from valuation rankings.
Who Built This
JustTheBeer is Amila's personal research project, built through AlgoTD. Its purpose is to explore stock valuation ideas and make the published comparisons easier to inspect.
This site does not claim independent verification of every source input or professional review of each estimate. You should examine the source notes and assumptions before relying on a comparison.
Valuation Methodology and Sources
Coverage varies by company. Available stock pages show a published valuation model and its reference price. Reproducing an exported model's arithmetic does not independently verify its filing lineage, input freshness or assumptions. A company without a reproducible estimate remains unavailable.
Filing period, filing date, model export date, quote observation time and publication time describe different events. A new publication timestamp does not mean that all inputs are new or that prices are live. Check each stock page's source and dates, and read the published report for snapshot context.
